2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Tail Lights Not Working

1 brake lamp fuse 2 turn signal switch and 3 the brake pedal switch.

Replaced it tail lights dash lights back in business. Did you also check the fuses under the hood there is a 20 amp out there that feeds that circuit. On my 2001 dodge ram 1500 there is a fuse circuit breaker box just behind the battery. Tail lights could turn off for several reasons and they are almost similar to the causes why brake lights not working but tail lights are.

The rear and headlights have separate connections. Tail lights dont work but bake and turn singals do. The causes for dysfunctional rear lights are. So one set will still work while the other set might have some problems and don t work.

Brake light power comes from the fuse up to the turn signal switch down to the brake lite switch on the brake pedal and then on to the light bulbs. All the other lights work on that side. Morning i have a 2013 1500 my trailer lights running lights do not work turn and brake lights work same issue when i unplug trailer lights and plug in light bar under the tailgate i rteplaced the plug on the bumper with the factory issued one and still having the same problem could it be a fuse problem or a short in the wiring someweres.
