Note the shape and note shape of where you just pulled it from so you know how to reinstall it.

Most guys i know just cut the old hose off including the clamp.
Remove the plenum assembly top.
The new clamp system seemed to leak easily.
Use a screwdriver to pry off these 2 clips on the heater core pipes.
Remove the hoses by twisting as you pull.
Make sure your problem is not the heater core leaking at the connections because of corrosion.

Remove the heater core bracket.
Take off the heater core cover by removing its screws then pull the core out making sure you don t tear the foam material surrounding it.
Disconnect the heater core ground cable strap that attaches to the interior firewall with a single bolt.
Works like a charm.
I bought new hoses and put regular hose clamps on.
Please use at own risk.
Place a container under the heater core pipe connections to catch spilling coolant.
Remove the two screws.
Also my lower coolant radiator hose doesn t get hot so i was thinking maybe it s the heater core.

I brought it to a local shop and they said it was the heater control switch which i m having a hard time believing but i could use some help form a trained ford tech.
With all 3 screws out pull and remove the piece.
Remove the 13 screws.
